Deciding to marry is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. Setting aside time to create the vision for your marriage and to discuss the essential aspects of a marriage, especially communication, dealing with conflict, family dynamics, and your dreams for your life together can help build a solid foundation for a strong and lasting marriage.
As your wedding officiant, we will set aside one appointment to address ways that you can strengthen your relationship and create a lasting, happy marriage. Many couples find it helpful to have 1-3 additional sessions in preparation for marriage. After your wedding, I remain available to offer guidance as needed.
Ashley Plevy writes, “Words cannot describe what gifts you have given us as we set out on this new married journey. We take with us greater knowledge of ourselves and us as a couple that we would never have understood without your guidance. The ceremony you wrote for us was icing on the cake!”
As a minister with years of experience working with young people and families, I will create a space for you to engage these important topics while providing support and advice to help you move forward with even greater feelings of satisfaction in your relationship. You will be given homework each session to help build on the areas we address during our time together.
"Sue was an instrumental part of our journey to marriage. Sitting down and taking an hour of our time every month to do marriage prep with her helped us sort through many scenarios that we will likely face as a married couple. Sue offered invaluable counsel and guidance that helped build confidence and a strong foundation for our relationship. We have referred her to several friends and will continue to do so!" writes Kelsey Holland.
Sessions may done in person or via Zoom, whether or not I will be officiating your wedding. Please call me at 978-325-2573 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule your first session.
Erin Blair writes, "Once we met Reverend Sue, we felt safe and at ease. We knew she should be the person to help complete our marriage process. We wanted a space to speak freely and without judgment, and with Reverend Sue was the place."
As part of my service, one appointment focused on building a strong marriage is included. Should you wish to meet for further sessions, the fees are:
$75/hour when I officiate your ceremony
$100/hour when someone else officiates your ceremony
